I put the pen to milky white skin and watch as the thin line of blood pours onto the surface. I stare curiously, wondering what might become of this. Carefully I lace each mark around the next, making sure not to confuse one group with the others. With each fresh mark, I drain a part of myself. Slow at first, I pay no mind to the loss of my vitals. Only when the marks, lines, and symbols congregate and form a meaning do I feel at a loss.
